- Booking information – through Acuity Scheduling (e.g. session type, chosen times)
- Payment details – handled securely by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
- Course and newsletter data – via MailerLite (e.g. which courses you are enrolled in, which emails you open)
- Session data – if we meet online via Zoom, your email address is used for the meeting link
- Cookies and analytics – to understand how visitors use our website, through Google Analytics
Why we collect this information
We use your data to deliver the services you book (coaching, courses, workshops), process payments securely, send confirmations, reminders, and updates about your sessions, share newsletters and inspiration (only if you have subscribed), improve our website and offerings through anonymous statistics, and collaborate with trusted partners such as House of Presence, when relevant to your booking or participation.
Legal basis for processing
Under GDPR, we process your data based on consent (when you sign up for newsletters or cookies), contract (when you book and pay for services), and legitimate interest (when we improve our services and maintain a safe, functional website).
How we store and share data
We never sell your data. Your information is stored in secure, GDPR-compliant systems: Acuity Scheduling (booking), Stripe (payment), MailerLite (newsletters and courses), Zoom (online meetings), and Google Analytics (website statistics). Only trusted providers with proper data protection agreements have access to your data.
Cookies
Energikode.no uses cookies to make the site work properly and to collect anonymous visitor statistics. You can adjust or disable cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
As a user in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct or update your information, withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe from emails), ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), and file a complaint with Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority) if you believe your data is mishandled.
How long we keep data
Booking and payment records are kept as required by accounting law. Newsletter and course data are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Other data is stored only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected.
